Shortly before its official premiere, the first
official-looking photos of the 2015 Land Rover
Discovery Sport have leaked online, thanks to Italian site Autoblog.it (no
relation!). The new midsize crossover effectively replaces the LR2/Freelander, and will
most notably be offered with seven-passenger seating.
Right now, all we have are the photos in the attached
gallery, showing what sort of looks like a puffed-upEvoque. Interestingly,
the new Disco ditches the typical "LAND ROVER" badging from its nose
and rump, in favor of the prominent "DISCOVERY" lettering. That said,
we like what we see, with clean lines and an overall style that's more in line
with the rest of the brand's newer offerings.
